The Stars

The hottest new international tenor, José Cura, sings all four tenor roles with these Puccini heroines.
China's great soprano, Chen Sue, is Cio-Cio-San in Madam Butterfly, the tragic love story of the geisha who falls in love with an American naval officer. Eilene Hannan is Suzuki.
In La Bohème, the story of romantic love set in bohemian Paris, Deborah Riedel sings Mimì and Gillian Sullivan sings Musetta.
In Tosca, Joan Carden sings the title role - a fiercely dramatic and passionate love story set in 19th century Rome.
Marilyn Richardson is Turandot in the spectacular tale of forbidden love set in ancient Peking.
Dennis Olsen performs the role of Puccini.

Completing this unprecedented line-up of the stars of opera are Geoffrey Chard, Roger Lemke, Gary Rowley, Nicholas Todorovic and John Wegner.
